Teaching aids:
Tape recorder、Teaching cards、a piece of paper
Teaching procedure:
Step 1. Warm-up
T: Morning! Let's sing a song, 'We have a new classroom.'
Step 2. Presentation
1. Revision
The teacher hands the cards and asks all the students to read them one by one as quickly as they can.
2. Let's talk
Guide the Ss to look at the pictures and ask
T: Who's the boy? S: He's Zhang Peng.
T: Who's the girl? S: She's Sarah.
3. T:They have a new classroom. Let's go and see.
T:What's in the classroom?
S1:One blackboard、 one TV、many desks and chairs.
T:Yes, you're right.
(The teacher shows the text sentence on the blackboard using the computer sentence by sentence and ask who can read them.)
Step 3. Practice
1. Let's play.
T: I see a 'C'. S: Where is it?
T: It's in a desk. S: It's a crayon.
2. Divide them into some small groups and let them practice in groups and then asks some of them to show the text. Review in
on under.
Step 4. Production
1. Explain that we use usually and sometimes to express frequency.
T: “What's in the classroom? Listen.”
2. Ask the S to imitate Sarah's tone to answer
Sarah: I see a 'C'. It's in a desk.
Ss read after the tape. Then practice in pairs to make up the new dialogue according to each picture.
3. Ask several pairs to act out the dialogue.
Step 5. Consolidation
1. Read the dialogue .Then practice in groups of four. They can expand their dialogue like the following:
A:What's in the classroom?
B: Let's go and see.
A:Where is it?
B: It's near the window.
2. Play finding order games
Show the following word cards and ask Ss to form correct sentences.

Homework: Read Page 4.
